Planning permission has officially been granted by Wirral Council representing a major step forward in transforming this brownfield site into a vibrant new community and is key to creating a greener, well connected town centre. Borough Yard will deliver:

• Up to 1,600 new homes
• Green spaces & Dock Branch Park South (a new linear park along the old railway)
• New shops, school & community facilities
• Better walking and cycling routes connecting to the town centre

Backed by Homes England and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, the first homes expected from 2027.
